UDOT’s signals program manages a variety of activities—ranging from left-turn signal upgrades to new construction. These activities come from different program budgets and require different ranking and selection criteria. Using Workflow Manager, UDOT was able to manage all programs with their unique criteria in one uniform system. In addition, by implementing Workflow Manager UDOT teams have been able to plan high-priority activities quickly, while forecasting others for future funding. This has provided greater transparency to program managers, region staff, and senior leaders.
